      Az elmúlt évek képzései során elég terjengősen írtam minden benyomásról, érzésről, történésről és tapasztalatról, ami az adott helyen ért, most megpróbálok kevésbé csapkodva és leginkább a képzésre szűkítva beszámolni a történtekről.  Akit több minden érdekelne (pl: utazás, szállás, hasznos jótanácsok), azok keressenek meg a kérdéseikkel és szívesen válaszolok rájuk. Ehhez kapcsolódóan az egyetlen és egyben a legfontosabb jótanácsom: mindent csinálj minél korábban és sokkal gyorsabb, nyugodtabb és OLCSÓBB lesz az egész képzésed minden tekintetben. Akárkitől hallod is, olyan nincs, hogy ráérsz majd!!!

Szóval az első napom az iskolában!

Az iskolám az Europass Teacher Academy a régi fővárosban San Cristobal de La Laguna-ban található az óváros részében egy modernizált régi épületben. Belül a modernizált részek és elemek harmónikusan illeszkednek a hagyományos építészeti megoldásokkal, nagyon kellemes atmoszférát teremtve az ottlét alatt. A szállásomat úgy kerestem még februárban, hogy közel legyen a iskolához, így 6 perc kényelmes sétával elérhető.

During the trainings of the past years, I wrote quite extensively about everything inside, feelings, happenings and experiences that reached me in the given place, now I will try to report on what happened with less rambling and mostly narrowing it down to the training.  If you are interested in more (eg: travel, accommodation, useful advice), contact me with your questions and I will be happy to answer them. In relation to this, my only and at the same time the most important tip: do everything as soon as possible and much faster, your entire training will be calmer and CHEAPER in every respect. No matter who you hear it from, there's no way you'll get it!!!

Then it's my first day at school!

My school, the Europass Teacher Academy, is located in the old capital, San Cristobal de La Laguna, in the old town, in a modernized old building. Inside, the modernized parts and elements fit harmoniously with the traditional architectural solutions, creating a very pleasant atmosphere during your stay. I looked for my accommodation back in February so that it would be close to the school, so it can be reached with a comfortable 6-minute walk.

Reggel az ismerkedéssel kezdődött a napunk. 10 főből áll a csoportunk, 2 észt, 2 cseh, 4 lengyel és 2 magyar, összesen 9 nő és egy férfi tanárból áll össze. Egy rövid játékos ismerkedés után elkezdtünk a kurzusunk témájával foglalkozni, ami a Case-Base learning nevet viseli, magyarul Eset alapú tanulásnak fordíthatjuk. A tanárunk Petra röviden bemutatta/magyarázta mit is jelent ez a módszer és miben különbözik a XX. században használatos régi módszerektől (ami nálunk és a csoport tagjainál még mindig működik). 

Our day started with getting to know each other in the morning. Our group consists of 10 people, 2 Estonian, 2 Czech, 4 Polish and 2 Hungarian, a total of 9 female and one male teacher. After a short playful introduction, we started to deal with the topic of our course, which is called Case-Base learning, which can be translated as Case-based learning in Hungarian. Our teacher Petra briefly introduced/explained what this method means and how it differs the new from the old methods used in the 20th century (which still works for us and the members of the group).

A következő órán a mellettünk lévő csoporttal vegyes 3 fős asztaltársaságokban kellett beszélgetnünk előre megadott témákban kérdéseket, amivel igazából megismerkedtünk egymás iskolájával, oktatási rendszerével, felszereltségével és életével. Érdekes volt, hogy mindannyian posztkommunista országból érkeztünk (cseh, lengyel, szlovák, észt) és nagyjából ugyanolyan állapotokról számoltunk be egymásnak. Az oktatás alulfinanszírozott, kevés a tanár, 20-24 óra a kötelező óraszám, mindenkinek muszáj másodállást keresnie, a propaganda társadalmilag a tanárok ellen hangolja a közvéleményt és a fizetés is hasonlóan alacsony. A két tanárunk Petra (skót származású) és a másik csoport tanára, aki ír csak meresztgette a szemét a fizetésünk hallatán, ők 3x annyit keresnek és társadalmilag teljesen más volt a megítélésük bárhol, ahol eddig dolgoztak. A délutáni órán Tenerife bemutatásával és a Case-Base learning rejtelmeivel foglalkoztunk. 

In the next class, we had to discuss questions on predetermined topics with the group next to us in mixed groups of 3 people, which actually allowed us to get to know each other's school, education system, equipment and life. It was interesting that we all came from post-communist countries (Czech, Polish, Slovak, Estonian) and we reported roughly the same conditions to each other. Education is underfunded, there are few teachers, the mandatory number of hours is 20-24 hours, everyone has to look for a second job, propaganda socially tunes public opinion against teachers and the salary is similarly low. Our two teachers, Petra (of Scottish origin) and the teacher of the other group, who is Irish, just rolled their eyes when they heard our salary, they earn 3x as much and socially they were judged completely differently wherever they worked so far. In the afternoon class, we dealt with the presentation of Tenerife and the mysteries of Case-Base learning.

17:00-tól városnéző túrán vettünk részt, amit az iskola szervezett és egy tanár vezetésvel barangoltuk be 2 óra alatt az óváros nevezetességeit és fontosabb látnivalóit.

From 17:00 we took part in a sightseeing tour organized by the school and guided by a teacher.
