DL-Tenerife 6. nap

 Új hét új helyszín, új csoport, új tanárok, ugyanaz a nyelviskola.

New week, new location, new group, new teachers, same language school.

Ezen a héten az Experiental learning in Tenerife: through nature and history képzésen veszek részt, ami a tapasztalaton alapuló tanulást vezeti fel és így kiválóan kapcsolódik az előző hetes eset-alapú tanulás nevű kurzusomhoz. Ugyan az a nyelviskola szervezi de 15 kiló méterre La Laguna-tól Puerto Santa Cruz-ban, a sziget fővárosában. 

This week I'm taking part in the Experiential learning in Tenerife: through nature and history training, which introduces experiential learning and is thus perfectly connected to my case-based learning course from the previous week. Although it is organized by the same language school, it is 15 kilometers from La Laguna in Puerto Santa Cruz, the capital of the island.

Az előzetes értesítések alapján három 15 fős csoportban leszünk, de mégis egyben. El se tudtam képzelni, hogy hogy fognak mozgatni 45 ebmert, de kiderült. Megvan a három csapat, három külön vezetővel, de minden csapatvezető áttanít a többi csapatba is, és a túrákat meg úgy vezetik, hogy egy vezető mindig ugyan azt a túrát vezeti. Például az én csapatom vezetője Moon, egy kedves angol hölgy, Ő tartott nekem az első nap négy órából kettőt, az elsőt és az utolsót. A második órát Dominic tartotta, aki a másik csapat vezetője, a harmadik órát pedig Maja tartotta a harmadik csapat vezetője. A túrákat pedig úgy tartják, hogy Moon kedden az én csapatomnak tartja a Természettudományi Múzeum látogatását, szerdán egy másiknak, csütörtökön egy harmadiknak. Maja viszi a Güimarba szervezett kirándulásokat, szóval, kedden-szerdán és csütörtökön is Ő megy a csoportokkal Güimarba, Dominik pedig az Anaga felé induló túrákat vezeti háromszor egymás után. Így mindenki találkozik mindenkivel és mindenki a hozzá legközelebb álló foglalkozást vezetheti. A csoportok között nincs átjárás, viszont a nyelviskolában első nap tudtunk találkozni, így kiderült, hogy 3 másik tanár kolléga is van Magyarországról. 

Based on the advance notices, we will be in three groups of 15, but still one. I couldn't even imagine how they would move 45 meters, but it turned out. There are three teams, with three separate leaders, but each team leader also teaches the other teams, and the tours are conducted in such a way that one leader always leads the same tour. For example, the leader of my team is Moon, a nice English lady. She taught me two of the four hours on the first day, the first and the last. The second lesson was taught by Dominic, who is the leader of the other team, and the third lesson was taught by Maja, the leader of the third team. And the tours are held in such a way that Moon considers a visit to the Natural History Museum on Tuesday for my team, another on Wednesday, and a third on Thursday. Maja takes the organized trips to Güimar, so she goes with the groups to Güimar on Tuesday-Wednesday and Thursday, and Dominik leads the trips to Anaga three times in a row. In this way, everyone meets everyone and everyone can lead the activity closest to them. There is no transition between the groups, but we were able to meet on the first day at the language school, so it turned out that there are 3 other teaching colleagues from Hungary.

Az első nap négy 45 perces órával kezdődött, ahol először egymással ismerkedhettünk meg, mozgásos, feszültségoldó gyakorlatokon keresztül, második órán a vulkánok sajátosságairól tanultunk, harmadik órán a tapasztalati úton történő tanulást elemeztük, negyedik órán pedig Moon-al a hét programját beszéltük át és a szigettel kapcsolatos jó tanácsokat kaptunk, valamint feltehettük kérdéseinket is. Így nagyon gyorsan elszaladt a nap, nagyon sok új emberrel találkoztam. Van a csoportomban két hölgy Ciprusról, egy Horváthországból, három Lettországból, egy Lengyelországból, Kettő Ausztriából, kettő Portugáliából és kettő Írországból, szóval elég vegyes a csapat, Moon a vezetőnk is Ír. Nagyon sok információ volt ez így kezdésnek és kicsit el is fáradtam. Ráadásul délután itt is városnéző sétát szerveztek nekünk, ahol a város nevezetességei mellett sétáltunk el és meglátogattuk a Fesztivál Múzeumot, aminek itt nagyon- nagy hagyományai vannak.

The first day started with four 45-minute classes, where we first got to know each other through moving, stress-relieving exercises, in the second class we learned about the characteristics of volcanoes, in the third class we analyzed experiential learning, and in the fourth class we discussed the week's program with Moon and we received good advice about the island and were able to ask our questions. So the day went by very quickly, I met a lot of new people. In my group there are two ladies from Cyprus, one from Croatia, three from Latvia, one from Poland, two from Austria, two from Portugal and two from Ireland, so the group is quite mixed, our leader Moon is also Irish. It was a lot of information to begin with and I got a little tired. In addition, they organized a sightseeing walk for us here in the afternoon, where we walked past the sights of the city and visited the Festival Museum, which has very long traditions here.

A városról néhány szót: Teljesen ellentéte az előző heti La Lagunának, folyton napos, forró, nyüzsgő, emberekkel, turistákkal, kutyákkal, üzletekkel, éttermekkel, nagy forgalommal, óriási toronyházakkal, húgy szaggal teli metropolisz. A délutáni városnéző séta Petrával volt, az előző heti kurzusom tanárával, aki elmondta, hogy az emberek Tenerifén kétfélék: La Laguna félék és Santa Cruz félék. Szóval, aki a nagyvárosi pezsgést keresi, annak ide kell jönnie. Nem baj hogy a szállásom La Lagunán van. 

A few words about the city: It is the complete opposite of La Laguna from the previous week, a constantly sunny, hot, bustling metropolis full of people, tourists, dogs, shops, restaurants, heavy traffic, giant skyscrapers, and the smell of urine. The afternoon sightseeing walk was with Petra, the teacher of my previous week's course, who told me that there are two types of people in Tenerife: the La Laguna type and the Santa Cruz type. So, those who are looking for the bubbly of the big city should come here. It's okay that my accommodation is in La Laguna.
